Tyler, The Creator – Yonkers

For those of you who don’t know of him already, Tyler The Creator is a rapper from LA and the leader of the hip hop group OFWGKTA. If you ask me, Tyler is completely reinventing the rap game. The only way I can really describe him is angry. This is hate rap in its purest form, the kind that makes early Eminem look like a fuckin’ choir boy. Most of his raps are about killing, rapping bitches, and dealing with his wide variety of psychological disorders. But at the end of the day his rhymes are so complex and brilliant that I have to look up the meaning after every song. With lines like “the Devil doesn’t wear Prada, I’m clearly in a fuckin white t” I think you’ll see what I mean.

He recently released his second album, Goblin, and if you ask me (and Kanye) its absolutely genius. But that’s the thing that gets me, is he really a genius or actually bat shit crazy? Take a listen and let us know what you think in the comments.
