Today friends we’re going to be putting two of my favorite remixes head to head, and this time I really need all of your guys help because I am just way too torn between which one is the best. The contenders are Moonlight Matters and Plastic Plates who have both produced amazing remixes with super creative elements. Before you decide though let me break down each remix individually so you can have the full story –
Hailing from Belgium, Moonlight Matters has perfected that funky bass slap that defines his sound. In this remix he allows Adele’s beautiful voice to stretch throughout her verses, but when it’s time for the chorus to kick in you can be sure as hell Moonlight Matters is going to rock the track with that heavy funky bass accompanied by what I’d call the perfect percussion. Can’t forget those gorgeous orchestra strings Moonlight Matters throws in there. Amazing remix.
Here at VelectroRaptor we actually just posted Plastic Plates for the first time yesterday. I know we’re lagging, because this Australian native electronic producer has one of the most bumping and catchy nu disco sounds I have ever heard and constantly crave more. In his remix, Plastic Plates approaches the song with a slower BPM than Moonlight Matters, which I have to say makes the song. I guarantee you bump this song on good speakers or headphones, there’s no way you’ll be able to sit still. When I saw Aeroplane this past Saturday I heard this remix in his hour and a half set and was absolutely dumbfounded.
Kaskade just dropped a bomb on the electronic music world today. One of the few instances when a DJ takes a crazy dubstep/electro house song and transforms it into a pure house gem. Although this remix is good, put against Zedd’s interpretation of the song had me thinking twice to whose was better. It’s a tough decision, but at the end of the day, I had to go with Zedd. Just a crazier more fun sound in my opinion, but what do you think?

Two huge remixes go head to head today. Swedish House Mafia’s gigantic hit “Save The World” has been remixed by the best, but here at VelectroRaptor we believe Alesso and Third Party have come out on top. Even though Third Party’s and Alesso’s remixes won’t be released until June 10th, these 3 minute previews of their tunes gives you a good enough idea of how their track sounds. So now it’s up to you to decide whose is better. Let us know what you think.

Another hit song has just become an Afrojack, Sidney Samson and R3hab remix but they’re not the once we’re putting head to head today. Instead, Jump Smokers and Bingo Players will be battling for the best remix. Bingo Players are currently on the top 5 on Beatport with their hit “Cry (Just a Little)” while I’ve never actually heard of Jump Smokers. Both remixes will get you moving but the vote is up to you. Let us know what you think. Enjoy.

Let me just start off by saying Lady Gaga is one weird bitch, but I do respect her. I haven’t heard her original “Judas” yet but I have been listening to all of the electronic remixes out there that have just been released this week and here at VelectroRaptor we believe the best ones are by R3hab and John Dahlback, but now it’s up to you to decide which one you like more. That’s why we’re creating a new post on VelectroRaptor called “RATE THIS REMIX”. Anytime two or more DJs come out with a remix to the same song, we’ll put two artists head and head and let the public decide which one takes the crown. But we need your feedback so let us know in the comments who you think the winner is, and if you have any suggestions for remixes that should go head to head don’t hesitate to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. So get ready for plenty of more remix clashes in the future and don’t forget to vote. Enjoy!
